Acquisition of companies

An acquisition strategy is one of several growth strategies to develop the company through new business areas or synergies with existing operations. At Artiga, we have solid experience with acquisition searches, company valuations, strategic and tactical advisory, as well as negotiation support.

Mergers

Mergers can be an acquisition strategy, where financing is done through shared payment, or a consequence of an acquisition. One of the main premises of a merger is to synergize across companies. We assist with executing the merger, identifying synergies, analyzing the shared payment ratios, and managing negotiations between the parties to maximize the value of the transaction.

Restructuring

Demergers are part of a restructuring strategy, often relevant when converting to a holding structure or when separating assets in preparation for potential sale of all or parts of the company.

MBO/MBI

During the sale of a company, an MBO/MBI (Management Buy-Out/In) can be a viable solution. This may provide a simpler and faster process, reduced risk in the due diligence phase, higher likelihood of retaining key personnel, and room for alternative financing structures. We assist in developing a sales strategy where an MBO is one of several options.
